Our scenic flights give you the options of departing from our helicopter pads and viewing the Great Barrier Reef and/or World Heritage listed Rainforest. Our flight times vary from ten to sixty minute duration and can also be taken from the pontoons at the reef.
If you are short on time this is a great way to see the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics World Heritage Areas

Planning to visit the reef with Great Adventures, Quicksilver Cruises, Reef Magic or Sunlover Cruises, while you are there why not book yourself into a ten minute scenic. These flight occur only from the heart of the reefs themselves providing you with a view of the reef that few ever see. We will give you as breathtaking view of the Great Barrier Reef and you will be surprised by the sheer size of the reef as it stretches off into the horizon. Every reef is different and have their own colour and marine wildlife. Not sure what you will be looking at? Out enthusiastic pilots and crew will be able to answer most questions and provide an in-flight commentary. These flights begin on your arrival to the Great Barrier Reef Pontoon, and can be pre-booked (advisable so you don't miss out) or booked onboard the boat on your way to the reef. Deluxe Reef Scenic Flight


A little more time on this forty minute flight, but a lot more reef! This deluxe Reef experience is a great way to enjoy the true beauty and size of the Great Barrier Reef. After taking off from Cairns you will fly to Green Island, where photographic opportunities abound. After circling Green Island and its surrounding reef, its over to Arlington Reef, where the extra ten minutes flight time will allow you to explore the reef and its marine life a little longer, including the possibility of touching down on Vlassoff Cay. You will then return to Cairns, passing Upolo Cay on the return flight. The tour is available morning and afternoons and includes complimentary accommodation transfers

Deluxe Reef and Rainforest Scenic Flight


The Deluxe Reef and Rainforest tour is an incredible way to experience the two World Heritage areas. On your sixty minute flight you will fly over Cairns to the surrounding mountains of the Great Dividing Range. Here you will enjoy incredible photographic opportunities of the Tropical Rainforest, with breath taking views of rainforest clad mountains and valley's. From here you will cross the coast and fly to the Great Barrier Reef, viewing secluded Coral Cays exploring the outer reef system, including Arlington Reef.
